Current: The Montebello Senior Citizen Center is a multi-purpose facility where Senior Services are offered to empower and provide senior citizens, aged 50 years and over, access to physical, leisure, social, and life-enhancing and sustaining programs and services. Thus, allowing older adults to thrive and age healthfully in the community. To support this, the Montebello Senior Center maintains a schedule of classes, social services, and special events for the senior population. Continuous programs include health screenings, dances, and a variety of exercise/leisure classes. Staff promote needed senior resource programs to reinforce this group’s quality of life, health and well-being. In addition, staff may provide senior citizens assistance, advocacy, and liaison services for various resources related to housing, food, healthcare, and transportation among others.
