Current: Sarah’s Circle is an award-winning affordable housing residence and wellness center providing comprehensive services for very low-income seniors. Sarah’s Circle was founded and incorporated in 1983 by Elizabeth O’Connor, a co-pastor of the ecumenical, Washington-based Church of the Savior. Early supporters included Senators Robert and Elizabeth Dole; James Rouse; and Arthur Fleming, former secretary of the Department of Health, Education and Welfare.
