Current: The former Senior Club, housed in the Cheney Family Branch of the Boys & Girls Club for the past 9 years, was reborn as the Gig Harbor Senior Center (GHSC) on May 1, 2019 when it officially came under the umbrella of the Greater Gig Harbor Foundation (GGHF). This partnership presents a significant opportunity to help fill a critical void in our community. The nonprofit status granted to the GHSC enables the newly formed organization to operate under the Foundation’s umbrella as a fully functioning 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity. The GHSC will continue its important work to provide much-needed services for our community seniors.
