Current: The Active Lifestyles Program at Doris Miller Community Center offers structured programs through "Wisdom in Motion." The Wisdom in Motion group meets on Wednesdays and Thursdays at the center and participates in exercise / walking programs, bingo, pinochle, health fairs, health screenings, and various celebrations. "Fit-Natics" offers state-of-the-art fitness equipment. Membership is open to new participants. Located in the Southeast Newport News community, the facility includes a large gym, game room, dance / exercise rooms, and meeting areas.
