Current: The Benbrook Senior Citizen Center is sponsored by the City of Benbrook. The purpose of the Center is to promote the welfare of seniors 50 and older through planned programs and activities that provide opportunities for educational, recreational and social interaction. Members of the Center enjoy a variety of activities, including field trips, shopping and dining excursions and holiday outings. In addition, the Center hosts special events such as an annual craft show and sale, garage sales, an annual scholarship banquet for Western Hills High School, exercise classes, driver safety courses and assistance with income tax preparation.
