Current: The Nessler Senior Center was established in 1977 for citizens 55 years or older. Our program continues to focus on the needs and well-being of our seniors in the community by being a focal point where older adults in the Texas City, West Texas City, La Marque and surrounding areas can come together for services and activities that reflect their experience that respond to their diverse needs and interests, enhance their dignity, support their independence, and encourage their involvement in the center and the community. Our staff is eager to serve our seniors by listening to their concerns, encouraging positive thinking, and promoting self-esteem. By interacting in all activities we focus on the needs of the entire group as well as the needs of each of our seniors.
