Current: The District 5 Senior Center opened its door in 2010 and is centrally located in the neighborhood for which it sits. Its footprint spans 13,500 square feet and provides a space where many generations help each other remain healthy, engaged, and independent. This center provides a perfect blend of boomers (1946-1964) and the greatest generations living through World War II who join and enjoy the many activities of the center from exercise, drawing/painting, dancing, field trips, to health and education, and more. “Come Alive at District 5” with us! Join us as we not only participate in the activities listed above, but also those unique to our Community at District 5 Senior Center – our walking and percussion groups! We hope to see you soon!
