Current: The Delaine Community Center located on 5400 Cane Savannah Rd, Wedgefield, SC 29168 is a center that provides recreational activities for seniors of Sumter County. Nutritious meals are provided by Sumter Senior Services every Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays as well as transportation. Weekly activities include but are not limited to aerobics, sewing, ceramics, Bible study, bowling, board games, trips and more. Delaine Center provides informative sessions, health and wellness activities, and social events every month. At the end of August, the clients participated in a Pattern Week activity. Participants were asked to wear Flower’s on Monday, Polka Dot’s on Wednesday, and Stripes on Friday.
