Current: Norris Square Senior Community Center provides programs and services for older adults living in the Norris Square neighborhood of North Philadelphia. The center welcomes anyone 50 years and older and there is no charge to become a member. Norris Square promotes positive aging by encouraging older adults to stay active in body, mind and spirit. Members can start the day by coming to the center for a nutritious meal and spend the day pursuing activities that interest you: try one of our exercise programs, discover your artistic side, explore volunteer opportunities, enjoy our home-cooked lunchtime meal and socialize with friends. The center’s social service coordinator is also available to be a resource for members who may need information about benefits and entitlements, assistance arranging transportation and access to other services.
