Current: The Urban League of Portland provides one of the only African American culturally specific senior service programs in the state, as in addition to serving a diverse range of seniors aged 60 and older. We provide or connect seniors with services that allow them to remain safely in their homes and communities. Our services in N/NE Portland include OPI Services, community resources, and a Multicultural Senior Center, which in addition to many activities, also provides some health care and preventative services including blood pressure checks, t’ai chi, and a visiting foot care clinic each month (the clinic is $30).
