Current: Today, The Licking County Aging Program is the largest senior center in the county. Located on the east end of Newark the agency helps meet seniors’ essential need for meals, health and home care and social connections right in their own neighborhood. Through its collaborative partnerships and integrated delivery of services, LCAP cares for one of the most diverse - vulnerable populations in the county. Preparing and delivering almost 1,000 meals, 5 days per week throughout Licking County through our Meals on Wheels Program. Many are isolated with no nest egg or family to buffer the challenges of aging. At The Licking County Aging Program, we strive at responding to each individual as a whole person with unique needs. Whether it’s in-home support, medical transports or simply a place to belong, LCAP helps each senior find a way to stay healthier and live with dignity while growing older. The Licking County Aging Program is the first senior center in the State of Ohio to receive certification from the Ohio Association of Senior Centers.
