Current: Our handicap accessible Center includes Community Room, Game Room, Kitchen and Restrooms. Lunch is served twice weekly offering nutritional meals to senior members of our community at a super low affordable price.Since established, the participation group has tripled in size and word has spread across the Northern portion of Summit County. Participants freely establish their own card games and mahjong games or simply stop in for a quiet place to read. The Center also offers Musical Entertainment, Movie Theater days, Bingo days, Birthday Parties, Podiatrist appointments, Resources & Contacts to local services & businesses. Participants enjoy snacks & beverages as well as pool table, media, televisions, wii &games. Coordinator keeps the calendar full of meaningful topics & activities that allows the group to be social & productive. Some of our achievements have been giving back to the community through donating to the Emergency Assistance Center and contributions to the Summit County Department of Family Services. The group also strives to achieve personal goals such as: health care refreshers, medical professional panels, scam prevention, blood pressure monitoring, crafts and sponsored health center visits.
