Current: Delta Sigma Theta Life Development, Inc. was a collaborative effort between Delta Sigma Theta Los Angeles Alumnue Chapter and the City of Los Angeles. Delta Sigma Theta Los Angeles Alumnae Chapter had a dream to provide a wide range of activities and services that will enhance quality of life by providing activities in the areas of health, education and welfare for the senior citizens in the West Adams district of Los Angeles, California. In 1986 Delta Sigma Theta Life Development, Inc. a 501 (c) 3 corporation began providing services and activities to the senior citizens of the West Adams district. Today Delta Sigma Theta Life Development, Inc. continues the dream and provides Congregate Meals, Homebound Meals, Care Management services, Prop A Transportation, two (2) Adult Day Support Centers, classes, health and educational programs, legal assistance, entertainment, and other activities. The center is dedicated to addressing the needs of the senior citizen who lives in and around the West Adams District. Delta Sigma Theta Life Development, Inc. receiving funding from the City of Los Angeles, Department of Aging.
