Current: R.A.I.N., Inc. is a multi-social service agency offering a myriad of services with a focus on the provision of continuum of care that includes a range of services for seniors and people with disabilities. R.A.I.N. has twelve Bronx based and one Manhattan based full-service neighborhood senior centers, home-delivered meals to homebound elderly, transportation services, assistance with benefits and entitlements, case management and elder abuse services, and Cucina Dolores, a community-based mobile meals program for homeless and hungry persons in the South Bronx in collaboration with the Bob and Dolores Hope Foundation. R.A.I.N.’s commitment to the elderly also includes the sponsorship of two residential housing projects providing apartments for low-income seniors. R.A.I.N.’s affiliated Home Health Care Program provides in-home attendant and personal care services for elderly, disabled and homebound individuals of any age.
