Current: The Portales Senior Center is more than just a building to come to and do things. We feel that we are a family providing a better way of living while providing most services other senior centers provide, We believe that there is so much more that we can accomplish as a senior community. While offering senior services, we also provide an environment which includes companionship, friendship, and a family like atmosphere. Our seniors travel together, cook, quilt, play games and watch over each other as we enjoy each day. To be a part of the Portales Senior Center is a feeling of belonging, a feeling of being a part of something bigger, and an overall understanding that life is not over at 60, but truly has just begun.
