Current: Clay County Senior Center opened in December 1991. We provide a wide variety of activities, programs & services for older adults. We became certified by the State of North Carolina as a Senior Center of Merit in June 2010, and then as a Senior Center of Excellence in June 2015. Our mission is to provide an atmosphere for older adults to enrich their lives through activities, education, recreation, socialization, & volunteerism.
