Current: The Eton Senior Center, built in 1959, was formerly an elementary school, which housed Kindergarten thru 2nd grade. In February 1979, the City of Dearborn Heights leased the building from District #7 to be used to enhance the lives of Senior Citizens. The Eton Center building has twelve classrooms, a multi-purpose room and a kitchen. The Center is utilized daily for meetings, classes in upholstery and quilting, special events, blood pressure readings, library services and the Wayne County nutrition program along with Meals-On-Wheels. The focus is to provide resources and services along with safe, enjoyable activities and events for the Senior Citizens of Dearborn Heights.
