Current: The Manistee County Council on Aging (MCCOA) is an organization that serves all senior citizens regardless of income or ability. The MCCOA was organized in 1971 and operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit funded by a voter-approved millage. The council works to keep senior citizens socialized and independent by providing a variety of programs and activities to Manistee County residents over the age of 60.
