Current: One of our newest centers, the White Oak Senior Center is located within the White Oak Community Recreation Center. This large center offers a wide-variety of programs and services for Montgomery County residents age 55 and over. The center focuses on, and offers a large array of exercise, health, sports, educational, wellness, and social activities on a daily basis. The center also offers workshops, short-term classes and introductory demonstrations, along with some regularly scheduled drop-in programs, sports activities (basketball, pickleball, volleyball, table tennis, ect.), informal social activities, special events, a nutrition lunch program, exercise videos, lectures, and volunteer opportunities. The center also offers technology programs, seminars, lectures, and individualized services for those needing community or county-based services. Parties, entertainment, volunteer & travel opportunities, ethnic and cultural programs, and just plain fun are all part of the daily routine at this center.
