Current: The Sharon Adult Center/Council on Aging is a Department within the Town of Sharon with an Advisory Board appointed by the Selectmen. The Council on Aging is responsible for identifying the needs of and educating the community about issues of people over the age of 60, and for providing or linking elders and their families with programs that meet their needs. Some Adult Center/Council on Aging programs are free, others have modest fees. Programs are available to persons under 60 as space permits.
