Current: The Decatur-Macon County Senior Center's goal is to enhance the quality of life for seniors through friendship, services, programs, activities, and advocacy. The Mission of the Decatur-Macon County Senior Center is to serve the Senior Citizens of Decatur/Macon County in a compassionate, caring manner that will promote increased independence, dignity, safety, physical, as well as, mental health. Activities, programs, services and advocacy are geared to meet the diversified needs of this population. Outreach and Information/Assistance are provided to guarantee that services are available and accessible. The Senior Center acts, on behalf of the Senior population, as advocates to assure that Senior needs and concerns are addressed.
