Current: The mission of the Miami Springs Elderly Services Department is to promote an enhanced quality of life for a diverse population of older adults residing in this community. In keeping with planned Federal and statewide goals, this department serves as a partner and stakeholder in Florida's aging services network and shares in the common objective to help older individuals remain independent and productive. Throught the City's senior center, this department provides a comprehensive and coordinated system of services to include: congregate meals, home delivered meals, nutrition education and counseling, health and wellness activities, recreation, transportation, adult education, screening and assessment, advocacy, and information and referral assistance.
