Current: Since 1956 Wilmington Senior Center has provided residents from the City of Wilmington and New Castle County who are 50+ with supportive services and enriching activities. Most of our programs are free, while others are available for minimal cost. A private non-profit agency, we’re governed by a volunteer Board of Directors committed to assuring equal opportunity for all regardless of race, creed, color, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, national origin, or disability. The Center is an active participant in the Delaware Aging Network, National Institute of Senior Centers, and the National Council on Aging. Funding for our programs comes from the United Way of Delaware, State Grant in Aid, Delaware Department of Health and Social Services, foundations, corporations and individuals. This website was paid for with a gift from the Laffey-McHugh Foundation.
