Current: Benedictine Manor of Wausau is a senior care community with deep roots. Their abiding Catholic faith fuels their mission to help those in need, passed down from the Gospel and the Rule of St. Benedict--but they reach out to serve everyone, regardless of creed or denomination. They offer long-term skilled nursing services, tending to the spirit, mind, and body, striving to build happy, well-rounded lives for those in their care. Licensed professionals such as registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing aides provide around-the-clock attention, working closely with residents, their families, and doctors. Hospitality, stewardship, respect, and justice form the core values of their efforts. They understand that when it comes to their residents, no comfort or necessity is too small (or too big) to be overlooked, offering a variety of activities, restaurant-style dining options, Protestant and Catholic services and bible studies, hygiene assistance, and much more. Benedictine Manor of Wausau is an affiliate of the nonprofit Benedictine Health System, one of the largest Catholic senior care organizations in the United States, sponsored by the Benedictine Sisters of St. Scholastica Monastery.
