Current: The Scherer Community Center provides a wide array of senior programs including a variety of contract classes, drop-in programming, special activities, and so much more. In addition to social and fitness programs, the Center acts as a referral agency to assist seniors with legal, medical, and financial issues. The Center also hosts the Senior Nutrition Program, in collaboration with the Family Services Association (FSA). Open as a Cooling Center and Heating Center during operating hours throughout the year.
