Current: It can be very difficult for a senior or someone dealing with mental illness, who has been independent all their life, to ask for or accept help. It can be very challenging for a family member to provide that help while also challenged with other family responsibilities, work, limited time and energy, and/or inexperience with issues faced by the those in need of care.
